An American Classic: Meatloaf


A simple yet delectable traditional centerpiece that meat lovers of all ages will surely enjoy.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 1 hour
Serves 8

10 ml cooking oil
100 grams white onions, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
75 grams carrots, grated
2 pieces eggs
1 cup milk
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 kilogram ground chuck
300 grams ground pork
200 grams ground brisket
1 cup breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper, to taste
½ cup ketchup
1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 In a large bowl, combine all ingredients together except for ketchup
and brown sugar.
2 Place meatloaf in a baking dish and shape into a loaf.
3 Mix together the brown sugar and ketchup and brush the mixture on top
of the meatloaf.
4 Bake meatloaf at 375° F for about 1 hour.
