Multi-awarded hotel Marco Polo Ortigas Manila just made a new addition to their Artisanal Chocolate Bar Series.
In commemoration of their 5th anniversary, the Five-Star hotel made Golden Crunch, an edible celebration of “the sweet taste of success”.
According to the hotel’s statement, “The Golden Crunch echoes the Hotel’s commitment to showcasing local flavors by highlighting the Albay region’s Pili nut. Combined with salted caramel, this humble delicacy is enveloped in classic milk chocolate, making it a true delight to the senses.”
Aside from The Golden Crunch, Marco Polo Ortigas Manila’s Artisanal Chocolate Bar Series has three original variants: Chili Caramel (containing Albay’s siling labuyo or bird’s eye chili”), Zest & Zing (with dayap and calamansi), and Green Mango Delight (with green mango bits and rice crispies).
The hotel’s artisanal chocolates are made by their culinary experts in-house. Even the chocolate bar wrappers are labors of love, featuring ” bespoke, oil painting-inspired designs.” All four variants of the Artisanal Chocolate Bar Series are available at Café Pronto.
