Now on its 22nd edition, Food & Drinks Asia 2018 is back to unravel the best and the trendiest of food and beverage finds in the market. The grand opening even had special guests like the diplomatic core from Japan, Sri Lanka, and Cambodia, alongside keynote speaker, Senator Cynthia Villar delivering a heartfelt speech on the state of small micro enterprises in the country and the importance of uplifting the agricultural sector. “It’s very important that we promote food security in this country,” she notes, adding that 99 percent of all businesses in the country are from SMEs. Senator Cynthia punctuates further, “All of us have the same collective goal, and that is to keep the sector growing because it is the one that feeds us.”
