6 Fictional Eats We’re Dying to Try

Oh how we wish we can just grab them from the screen

Just because a universe is fictional doesn’t mean they can’t have make-believe food. Admit it, there are times when you just want to reach out to the screen and grab the food you’re seeing there. The good news is that some establishments are trying to replicate them. It’s better than nothing, right?  Read on to know which fictional eats made it to our “fictional” to-eat list!

1Chocolate Frog (Harry Potter)

Don’t be surprised if your chocolate frog jumps right at you. If you’re a Potterhead, then you would fondly recall a young Harry Potter opening a box only for the frog to jump out the window. Even though it’s shaped like an amphibian, it still made our mouths water because it looks a lot like milk chocolate in the muggle world. Even if you’re not in it for the chocolate, you’d still have fun collecting the cards that came with each box.

2Romulan Ale (Star Trek)

If you’re on team Star Trek, then you’re familiar with their out-of-this-world (both literally and figuratively) alcohol called the Romulan Ale. It is said to be so intoxicating that drinking it is even a challenge for the alcohol-resistant Klingons. Would you dare take a sip? Even if the alcohol was made illegal, their universe’s laws don’t apply to us anyway.

3Krabby Patty (Spongebob)

The most coveted recipe in the underwater world belongs to the Krusty Krab. A lot of people, fictional or not, have been trying to discover how to create the Krabby Patty. The meal has become so famous that people are ready to do whatever it takes to eat it, even if it means living in a pineapple under the sea.

4Lembas (Lord of the Rings)

Elves claim that one bite from the Lembas bread is enough to satisfy a person for an entire day. We wish it were true. People in the workforce and students going through hell week could use the extra boost in energy. Aside from its benefits, it sure looks delicious especially when served hot. It kept Frodo alive from The Shire all the way to Mordor so we’d definitely like to give it a try.

5Hot Pie’s Direwolf Bread (Game of Thrones)

Remember that emotional scene when Arya bid farewell to Hot Pie? Well, we couldn’t help but notice the wolf-shaped bread that he gave to the young Stark. It looked delicious and rumor has it that Hot Pie was named as such because he makes great pies. Although, you might just have a hard time taking the first bite because of how cute it looks.

6Green Eggs and Ham (Dr. Seuss)

The book by Dr. Seuss is about a person who didn’t want to eat the green eggs and ham. In the end, he was convinced to have a taste and ended up liking it. The anecdote has a moral story: don’t make up your mind about something when you haven’t tried it. Green eggs may look unusual and disgusting, but why don’t we give it a try? Who knows? You might end up loving it. The characters in the book can even vouch for its taste!
