Just like how Magnolia Bakery (M Bakery) created an Ube Cake and Ube Cupcake in 2018 and Choc-Nut Banana Pudding in 2019, the beloved American import is paying homage to more Filipino flavors this year — just in time for summer.
“We know that the Philippines has so many flavors to offer. We’re constantly trying to blend this in M Bakery’s classic offerings to showcase the richness of our local ingredients and make more indulgent desserts available for our good food-loving patrons,” said Stewart Ong, Managing Partner and Franchise Owner of M Bakery in the Philippines.
Here are the new Pinoy-inspired treats you can enjoy at M Bakery this season.
Mango Jamboree (P325 per slice)
The Philippines is almost synonymous to mangoes (and vice versa). We’re known for having the sweetest mangoes in the world.
M Bakery’s Mango Jamboree features a pecan shortbread crust with layers of cream cheese and whipped cream then topped with a generous helping of fresh mango chunks.
Calamansi Cupcake (P165 each)
M Bakery already has Calamansi Icebox Pie, but they also gave this ubiquitous citrus the signature M Bakery Cupcake treatment.
M Bakery’s Calamansi Cupcake has the perfect balance of sour and zesty flavors oozing from the rich calamansi filling within the cupcake. It’s topped with meringue icing to cut through the acidity.
They also have new Calamansi Muffins (P185 each). Perfect with coffee or tea.
Choc-Nut Cupcake (P165 each)
Their limited edition Choc-Nut Banana Pudding was a hit, so of course it was only wise to turn this beloved Pinoy candy into an M Bakery cupcake with a Choc-Nut Spread filling with Choc-Nut buttercream frosting and chunks of Choc-Nut on top. This is every Choc-Nut lover’s dream come true.
M Bakery is located at Unit #23, Lower Ground Floor, One Bonifacio High Street Mall, 5th Avenue corner 28th Street, Bonifacio Global City. For inquiries and advance orders, call (02) 847-9829 or 0917-633-1718. Plus, they also conduct baking classes!
