It looks like we’re in for a whole lot of surprises from PizzaExpress for the whole month of June, and we couldn’t be more excited to share their special treats with you!

The pizzeria first opened its doors in Soho, London back in 1965 with founder Peter Boizot seeking to revolutionize the way people did their pizzas. Quickly becoming a renowned international brand, the diner found its way to our shores early last year – serving up carbs that count and handmade happiness.

Brought in by the ever-talented team behind Tasteless Food Group, PizzaExpress had always been on our radar ever since its inception here, keeping us on our toes with exciting flavors and collabs suited to the Filipino palate and our undying love for pizza. Without further ado, here are their limited menu additions you can now enjoy.

Pork Rendang has always been a cult Indonesian cuisine favorite

Available until the end of the month only, you can feast on the famous chain’s localized Asian pizzas. This is pretty neat because you’ll only get these flavors in their countries of origin (until now, that is). Their line-up features some well-loved Asian dishes in pizza form. First up in the roster are their Indonesian specials. Here, you can find the Chicken Sate Romana – that’s barbecued chicken marinated for hours to get that savory flavor, complete with peanut sauce and pickled vegetables. Then there’s the Rendang Classic – yes, we’re talking the entire dish, including every basic component from the braised beef in spices, to the chillis, and down to the coconut milk.

Peking Duck on pizza? Count us in!

The Peking Duck Romana is also on hand for their limited selections. A Chinese cuisine favorite, you’ll be happy to know that the duck is roasted in-house doused in that classic hoisin sauce. We’re told that they skipped the tomato sauce for all their localized Asian pizzas. In this way, the pizza only becomes their base while keeping all the dishes’ original flavor intact.

What’s a complete celebration of Asian fares without a representative from Singaporean cuisine? Even if the country is particularly young and is a melting pot for various cuisines, their contributions to the food world are indeed noteworthy. For instance, the Chilli Crab and the Laksa have become synonymous to Singapore. The iconic creations can also be found on the menu, but in Romana form. Both pack on the heat but rest assured, you can ask the kitchen to make it less spicy if your tastebuds can’t take it.

We’ve been told that patrons can also watch out for a localized PH pizza within the year, which we’re really stoked for.

Which coffee do you fancy?

The pizzeria is also bringing back their co-crafted series by teaming up with Type A – a brand known for their cold brew coffee made from premium Panama beans. Start your day by rotating among the three concoctions available until July 14. There’s the Iced Black for those who prefer their cold brew strong and classy, and not to mention surprisingly smooth. Then there’s the Iced White for those who prefer their cup of joe on the sweeter creamier side. Or perhaps, you want to try a quirky version of your coffee every once in a while – for that, you’ll thank them for their take on the Cold Brew Soda.

But wait, there’s more! Along with the limited edition collaboration, PizzaExpress is also rolling out some desserts made with Type A’s cold brew. They made a spin with the usual Affogato in hot espresso by freezing the cold brew and turning it into a summer-approved Granita Affogato. Meanwhile, the Coffee Panna Cotta uses Type A’s cold brew in syrup version for a dose of some caffeine.

Pizza, coffee, and dessert? Now, that’s one full meal we’re willing to sign up for. Way to go, PizzaExpress!
