Chef’s Note: Once the chocolate shell is set, pour your milkshake into the glass and top with chocolate coated strawberries.
FOR THE MILKSHAKE
3 cups Good Quality ice cream, vanilla flavor
1 ½ cups whole cream milk
10 + 8 pieces of strawberry (or any fruit you prefer)
FOR CHOCOLATE SHELL
1 ½ cup chocolate
1 cup coconut oil
Put ice cream, milk and 10 pieces of strawberries inside the blender, then set aside remaining 8 pieces of strawberries. Mix until smooth, creamy and slightly thick.
FOR THE CHOCOLATE SHELL
Set up a double boiler. Fill a medium sized pot with ½ cup of water and bring it to a boil.
Reduce heat to simmer, and fit a bowl into the pot. Add the chocolate and coconut oil into the bowl and stir until chocolate is completely melted.
Dip your strawberries into the chocolate sauce and freeze for 15-20 minutes.
Pour a little of the chocolate sauce at the bottom of your milkshake into the glass and freeze of 15-20 minutes.
Once the chocolate shell is set, pour your milkshake into the glass and top with chocolate coated strawberries.
