Ingredients

FOR THE APPLE CRUMBLE

200 grams all-purpose flour, sifted

¼ teaspoon salt

150 grams sugar

150 grams unsalted butter

FOR THE APPLE FILLING

2 green apples, peeled, sliced into wedges

2 Fuji apples, peeled, sliced into wedges

½ of a lemon, juice squeezed out

¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder

Directions

FOR THE APPLE CRUMBLE

Combine the flour, sugar, and salt into a medium bowl.

Using a rubber spatula, stir in the butter until thick and crumbly.

Put crumble on pie pan, flatten, then let rest in the chiller.

FOR THE APPLE FILLING

Peel and slice the apples into wedges, squeeze lemon juice over apple slices.

In a sauté pan over medium heat, add the butter and sugar until melted. Remove from heat, and then add your apples into the pan and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon powder.

Bring back the pan over heat and cook for 10 minutes or until half-done. Remove from the heat and let it cool.

Arrange in pie pan over crust and bake at 160°C for 10 minutes.
