Because school is right around the corner, we’re going back in time to give you a round-up of all the eats that have always held a special place in our hearts from our days in uniforms, all-nighters, and allowances. As a tribute to this back to school fever, here are some of our topnotch budget-friendly comfort food faves.
First on our list, milktea! We do understand the craze over the popular drink right now, being your typical 90’s babies who experienced the first wave of the craze back in our college days. Like magic, just a sip of this refreshing drink seems to put all our worries at bay (and the magic lives on to this day). The best part? It’s impossible to get enough of the drink, as it is served in different flavors and can be mixed in with several pairings that can suit your every mood.
2. Pasta Boy

3. Street Food
School won’t ever be the same without those legendary street food snack breaks with the barkada. And isaw and kwek-kwek never fail to make merienda time what it’s worth! Isaw has always been an epic streetside snack remember fried and thank God, they still exist up to this day. And oh, kwek-kwek, how can we ever forget thee? Whether it’s doused with salt or tangy vinegar, it’s bound to be a match made in heaven.
